Since being founded in 1875, the family-owned Braun Brush Co. has been an industry leader in the manufacturing of quality industrial brushes. With original roots in Brooklyn, our first brush manufacturing facility was established on Palmetto Street. As our reputation grew, so did our business, which necessitated the opening of a second plant in Queens, located on 78th Street near Jamaica Avenue. Braun Brush flourished in Queens for three decades, until moving to its third and current location in Albertson, Nassau County, in 1977. The business is still operated by the family, most recently Lance Cheney, who is the great-grandson of Braun Brush Co.'s founder, Emanuel Braun.
